In 2008, Ms. de Silva founded the Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition, the nation’s first community-wide recreational music-making wellness coalition, by bringing together over 30 organizations to actively engage older adults, caregivers, developmentally disabled, at-risk youth, refugees, individuals suffering from mental health disorders and substance abuse, culturally diverse groups, students, and corporate groups, in two evidence based recreational music making wellness programs; Clavinova Connection and HealthRHYTHMS. She promotes a culture of wellness both nationally and internationally. Ms. de Silva is also a national trainer for Remo Inc.
