Meet the West Music Coralville Team!

Sherry Worthington – Vice President of Regional Stores

Sherry is originally from Sioux City, but now resides in Amana, IA. She graduated from Sioux City East, Iowa State University, and attended Drake Law School. Sherry is a drummer, having played lead snare in high school, trap-set in Jazz I, and the timpani in orchestra. Her hobbies include drawing realistic art and writing. She also loves to garden – flowers, in particular.

When asked about her favorite places around town, Sherry replied “I love my colonies and the trails around Amana.”

Sherry has three kids – “I am super proud of them!! They are my reason for everything!”

Chris Haas – Band/Orchestra Sales Associate

Chris is originally from Nauvoo, IL, but now resides in North Liberty, IA. He has a BM in Trumpet Performance from Western Illinois University ’13, and an MM in Trumpet Performance from Northwestern University ’15.

Chris’ musical interests include anything trumpet/brass related and orchestral music. Outside of music, Chris enjoys running and watching sports. His favorite place around town is Red’s Alehouse in North Liberty.

Drew Pierson – Piano Sales Consultant

Drew is originally from Iowa City, but now resides in Oxford. He attended West High in Iowa City and has an MA in Jazz Composition from DePaul University in Chicago. His musical interest include disco and Japanese fusion. Outside of work he enjoys skateboarding. He and his wife, Susan, have 16 pets: two dogs, three cats, and 11 reptiles and amphibians!

Ryan Brondyke – Combo Sales Associate

Ryan is from Clifton, IA, but now lives in Tiffin. He graduated from Clinton High School and has a BA in English from the University of Iowa (specialization in poetry writing). Ryan loves everything about music (except that he can’t dance!) He says he doesn’t care for musicals but can always find one little aspect of any piece or performance that he can appreciate or enjoy. He plays drums casually in a band called The BeSides.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time outside doing anything, cooking, and playing games such as Magic: The Gathering. He also likes spending time at F.W. Kent Park and other parks. His favorite restaurants in town are La Regia and NoDo. Ryan loves cats, but currently has none as he would really like to do some extensive traveling in the future.

Ryan claims to be in-charge of the rock and roll department for the Iowa City/Coralville area. “You wanna rock you come see me first.”
