West Music and Music Therapy Ed are partnering up! Enter our social media contest, leading up to American Music Therapy Association 2014 Conference for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate!

Prize: 2 $50 gift certificates to West Music

Deadline: Winner to be announced at #AMTA14, Saturday, November 8th at 1PM Eastern, in the exhibit hall between West Music + Music Therapy Ed booths

Rules for contestants:

  1. First, scroll down, and leave a comment stating your plans to enter the contest, and social media profiles and handles so we know your posts belong to YOU! Also, by leaving a comment, we’ll have your email address to contact you in case you win.
  2. Post to Pinterest, Instragram, Tweet, FB, and/or Youtube a selfie of you and your favorite instrument or piece of equipment and this statement: “#WestIsTheBest! If I win the $50, then I will spend it on ____________! http://bit.ly/WestMTed @WestMusic @MusicTherapyEd”
  3. You are allowed an unlimited number of posts per day. Whoever posts the most unique, inspiring, creative images will WIN! This is NOT a luck-of-the-draw sweepstakes. We use a rubric, and the eligible entries will be examined thoroughly by the Music Therapy Ed team, and approved by West Music. We will award 2 winners with $50 gift certificates to West Music. You must be 18+ years old to enter.

Aaron Hansen

Aaron Hansen is an experienced K-6 General Music educator, passionate about bringing music to life through the Orff Approach. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Aaron has completed comprehensive Orff Teacher Training, including three levels at the University of St. Thomas and an Orff Master Class. His dedication to the Orff method took him to the Summer International Course at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, Austria. Aaron also shares his expertise by teaching movement at various Orff Teacher Training Courses and conducting workshops for local Orff Chapters.
