#1 – Harmony Recorder Updates: Two-Piece Recorder Models
We appreciate teacher feedback – and we listen! We updated the design of the Harmony Renaissance Recorder based on teacher reviews paired with the needs of your students. The Harmony Renaissance is a two-piece recorder model with several key features. Because this is a two-piece recorder model, it allows for tuning! Another aspect of a two-piece model is the option for teachers to remove the mouthpiece half of the instrument when a student is noise-making out of turn. This way they can continue to focus on the fingering to stay engaged without disrupting the lesson. Additionally, the instrument includes a larger bore for consistent tone blend and sounds strong low notes
West Music President & CEO Robin Walenta, has this to say about the Harmony Renaissance Recorder, “Designed with the educator in mind, they are the ideal fusion of performance and budget. I’m excited to introduce the new, exclusively-designed Harmony Renaissance Recorders. I love that their 2-piece construction that allows for easy cleaning and sanitization – something parents and educators both can appreciate. Available in ivory, blue, purple, and red, these recorders will be a hit amongst students as well. I encourage you to check them out. You won’t be disappointed!”
#2 Our Number-One Selling Recorder Has a New Bag!
This best seller previously featured a dark blue recorder bag. To make it easier for music teachers to write on the bag with ease, we switched the color to white so it’s compatible with a standard black permanent marker. You may already be aware of this, the Harmony WM2400 Soprano Recorder has an unbeatable price. Mike T., an Elementary Music Educator said, “My students love the recorders they got from West Music.
